About Dr. Sanjeev. P. Sahni
Founder of Sumona, Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev. P. Sahni is a prominent psychologist with immense experience in the Education, Government and Corporate sector. Dr. Sahni founded the Jindal Institute of Behavioural Sciences, a research based behavioural sciences institute. As a founding member of the management team, he was instrumental in establishing the O. P. Jindal Global University in the year 2009. He served as the Vice President of the World Society of Victimology. Recently, he was unanimously elected as the President of the Community Psychology Association of India (CPAI).
During his tenure at the university, Dr. Sahni used to foster collaboration across the university and managed to bring about a change in policies and practices that affect the academic and administrative life of the university as a whole. He also served as a Professor in the University and as the Director of Centre for Victimology and Psychological Studies, Centre for Leadership and Change, Centre for Community Mental Health and Centre for Criminology and Forensic Studies.
